Four Calling Birds — A Joyful Chorus for Christmas

The fourth verse of the classic Christmas carol comes to life in a wonderfully colorful way with the Jay Strongwater Four Calling Birds Glass Ornament, part of the collectible 12 Days of Christmas series.

Introduced in 2018, this elaborate ornament gathers four cheerful singing birds among lush green branches and festive berries. Each little bird has its own personality, dressed for winter in jeweled scarves and hats and hand-painted in a lively palette of creamy white, canary yellow, brilliant blue and ruby red.

The design began as a sculpture, with each bird first carved in clay before being recreated in mouth-blown glass by Old-World glass artisans in Poland. Master artisans then hand-paint the ornament with enamels and fine glitter before finishing it with individually hand-set Swarovski® crystals.

Look closely and the details are extraordinary—from the tiny open beaks of the singing birds to their sparkling winter accessories, dimensional leaves and berries, glittered branches and brilliant crystal accents.

A signature pink ribbon bearing the words “12 Days of Christmas” completes this whimsical heirloom ornament.
